Friday August 07, 09 : Klaas-Jan Huntelaar signed a four-year contract with AC Milan on Friday after passing his medical exam.

The club did not disclose financial details of the deal, but said on its Web site that the contract runs until June 30, 2013. The Netherlands forward arrived in Milan on Thursday, shortly after the clubs announced the deal.

Huntelaar, who turns 26 next week, made only 13 first-team starts after joining Madrid from Ajax for euro20 million ($28.8 million) in December. 

He was expected to get even less playing time in Spain this season after Madrid made a number of major offseason signings, including Milan's Kaka.
