Saturday August 08, 09 : Indian Premier League franchisee Deccan Chargers is venturing in sports personality management and will sign ace shuttler Saina Nehwal on Saturday.

Signing Saina would mark the beginning of the IPL franchisee's first foray in sports other than cricket, sources said.

Deccan Chronicle, the newspaper owned by the Deccan Chargers management, would announce Saina as their brand ambassador tomorrow, they said.

The Chargers, led by Adam Gilchrist, has won the second edition of IPL Twenty20 tournament in South Africa earlier this year.
